Amets means "dream" in Basque tongue, and, along with his sister Sabrina, professional cyclist Marzio Bruseghin realised his own dream in 2008 when he celebrated 3rd place at the GIRO cycle race and was presented with some of the first bottles of Prosecco from his very own vineyard. His highly situated vineyard is perfect for the 6 hectares of Glera grapes that are all 100% organic. 40 donkeys visited the vineyard to graze around the domain and have now become the symbol on the labels.Marzio Bruseghin's is an organic wine domain specialising in the production of Prosecco DOC Treviso Biologico. It is located in the extreme north of the province of Treviso near the Prealpine mountains, Vittorio Veneto. The domain is in the Piadera area, a hilly area of moraine origin, rich in fossils, and the vineyard has an amphitheatre altitude ranging from 360 to 430 metres above sea level with a south-west exposure and a considerable temperature range which is ideal for high quality grapes. The vineyards are processed entirely by hand from pruning to harvesting. This Amets Prosecco Brut offers citrus and apple aromas, with a lively acidity on the palate. Best served with appetizers and cured meats.
