The Rinforzo is an iconic wine from Puglia. Rinforzo is a special processing method that involves skillful handling of the grapes, which are lightly dried both in boxes and in the cellar.
The growing area of the Primitivo grapes is in Apulia, in the Salento area, on the hills around the area of Manduria. The soils there are very limestone and clayey. For the Rinforzo Primitivo Salento, grapes from the best plots were used. The aging of the wine took 8-10 months.
